Asking our MP questions.

On Saturday, July 12th, members of various CTCH churches met our MP, Tom Morrison, to ask question. We had sent some in early, and we asked some on the day. We covered topics from the effect on British Nationals (Overseas) of a new Government White Paper that will change the conditions under which they have entered the country, through to questions of housing in the Cheadle Hulme area, from attitudes to Gaza to the funding of the NHS, and the repairs needed at Stepping Hill Hospital. Asking questions, explaining our concerns, hearing what power our MP has and doesn’t have – all of these are important parts of sharing in working for the common good.
We are grateful for the opportunity to ask the questions, press hard on some issues, ensure our MP heard what matters to us, and listen to some of his concerns.
We are hoping that this will become a regular event – watch this space.
