Chelwood Foodbankplus

Chelwood Foodbankplus runs four foodbanks in some of the most deprived areas of Stockport and works closely with agencies across South Manchester.  They were established in 2012 and also run a homeless project called ‘Loaves & Fishes’ and the ‘Pots & Pans’ project. Christian Aid

CTCH is affiliated to Christian Aid UK. We do collections and an annual sponsored swim and walk to raise funds. We also support the campaigning work of the charity on issues such as climate change. For more information see their website.

Churches Together in Britain & Ireland

Churches Together in Britain and Ireland is the umbrella organisation helping to bring the many different Christian churches and denominations together in Christian unity. Churches Together in England is the national organisation supporting and encouraging churches from a wide range of traditions to work together in unity. Their vision is to create the space in which fruitful collaboration and mutual understanding can grow, so that we as churches work more closely together in our great task of sharing in God’s mission and making the gospel of Christ known across England.
